1. Following our last year project supporting school children financially which we did support two kids for one year 2007-2008 successfully.
We did announce the supporting of eight ( 8 ) more children for the next year education 2008-2009 and so far, we have been contacted
by six ( 6 ) good hearted people who wish to help us with this idea.
2. Thanks to people who helped this project, it has been collected about 43% of the cost for the renovation and purchasing of the materials which is mentioned on the page ( Donate Now ).
We have already bought 11 tables, 44 chairs, table clothes and a boiler. The renovation has been started and we are hoping to finish the work untill the end of this year. Please look at the Photo Gallery ( photos of July, 2008 ).
In our last trip, we have discovered one of the school children ( Manuel ) who is suffering from the throat infection which is caused by having the third tonsil. This is a throat disorder in children. He has difficulties with nose breathing, running nose, breaths through mouth and walks with open mouth, hearing loss is accompanied by recurrent inflammation of the middle ear and incorrect pronunciation caused by obstructed nose. According his father, the boy is not well-rested in the night and frequently awakening. We are trying to get him operated as soon as possible.
